Match comments :
This match started off nicely enough, we both had 8v8 in pre-match then when the game started half of
the SBV squad dropped, fortunately we had rcon and restarted the map about 4 times I think until they
finally got 7 out of the 8. We dropped a player until their 8th man arrived.
The First map was BAM, we started off nicely enough capping pretty quickly the SBV attack was strange they
seemed to attack then stop then attack a little then stop. I was defending in the basement but getting
very bored so I went out for a walk. I saw some really amusing things on this map the added touch of one
of the LT attackers going Engineer and building a SG in the enemy base so I proceeded to help him.
This almost cost us a flag though so I went back to defence like a naughty engineer that I was.
The Second map was 2fort, SBV had a few problems in this map, one of their best players [SBV]Raven was having
Massive modem problems as were a few others but the team numbers kept fluctuating which got a little confusing
as we kept dropping players to keep it even. It got to the point we dropped half of our defence to keep it
even. They were not being overly used anyway but fate intervened and they grabbed the flag and capped it :(
I wouldn't have minded but then one of their team members [SBV]Bolt accused [LT]Daffy-Duck of cheating by being
an engineer as with an assault cannon, a well know 'CLIENT' side bug.
This annoyed me a little but we couldn't get the flag back :(
We decided instead to go for the big 300 - which we er got :P
Towards the end of the match the server had a few redout problems and [SBV] tried to surrender prior to match finish.
We didn't accept as we were almost at the 300 target and we were not sure on the rule implications.
One thing of note though, they were short on players at the end of the match but I must point out that at least
one of their players left on purpose he even said goodbye mid-game. This was out of order when our players were sat out on
the sidelines not able to play to keep it even.
To sum up we WON! :) but I hope we get some good teams in the ladder soon :(
