Match comments :

We played AGL today in a Week 5 UKTFCL match, both teams started both maps with 8 players, there where some problems with WON again the sooner the WON thing is sorted the better.

The first map was Well, we hadn't played this map for a while but looked forward to it. Both attacks came flying out at the bell with ours having slightly more success in that we touched the flag on our first attack where our defence managed to stop their first wave. It didn't take both attacks log to cap a flag each leaving the score level at 10-10. For the next 15 minutes it was all LT and we eventually pulled away to 70-10. I don't know if we got complacent or AGL just figured a way through our defence either way the next 15 minutes should have had an 18 rating on it as far as LT are concerned. We let a lead of 60 points be reduced at one stage to 20, in the end the map finished 90-60 with both teams having the others flag. A close call for us and a map we obviously need to spend more time on and we will.

The second map was 2Fort again both attacks came flying out of the traps, again both clans capped early on and the score was level at 10-10. The AGL defence was strong on this level, our offence where having real problems breaking through and when they did AGL reformed their defence quickly and effectively. Whilst our attackers where having problems with their defence our defence was having problems with their attackers. The AGL offence continued where they left off and took a 30-10 lead on this map. Our offence managed to get the flag the same time as AGL and the score went to 40-20 with about 10 minutes left. Then came a massive effort from LT as a whole staring a defeat in the face on 2Fort everyone seemed to pull their socks up and fight as best they could, Porky did a fantastic job to cap twice and even the map up but was aided by the rest of the offence inching the flag further towards of base. I will admit that at this stage 40-40 I ordered us to go 6 on defence after the effort to even up the map I didn't want to lose a cap again on a day when the LT defence had to ask it's self a few home truths. The map ended 40-40

Overall an excellent match and one we certainly enjoyed playing in, NUFF respect to AGL who played very well and where great sportsman to the end. Taking nothing away from AGL's excellent performance ours was below power and we will be working hard in praccy next week, as I said though very well done AGL.
