LT faced up to their Latest opponents MtS today in a clan battle over CZ2 and ROCK2. With the BC game yesterday and the BIA game to follow LT were raring to go. All our players knew this weekend would hopefully (if we win) blast us clear of many of the other ladder clans at the top end of the table. So the pressure was on for us. The Clans joined the server but we were both having problems keeping a full team in the server. At one point I watched 3 of our team disconnect at the same time :( Finally we got underway
The First map was CZ2 there was a little misunderstanding at the beginning of this map, we started thinking it was a kick around as they only had 7 players on the team when admittedly we had 5. I finally got a confirmation from them that they only had 7 players which was a little annoying for the second day running but Chef dropped and we played on. They did some sterling defence work but not enough to stop our crazy scouts.
The Second Level was ROCK2 and it was an LT blinder. In all honesty I hate this map as it is so hard to cap and so easy to defend. Frankly I find it a little boring and mundane. This map was not really and exception for our defence as we were not really taxed. It started off in the usual manner but as the LT attack put more and more pressure on MtS their attack faded. If I remember correctly Brain shouted after two of the defending soldiers thats they were that far forward maybe they should go and cap.
This map was won fairly easily thanks to a heavy LT attack but thats not to say that MtS rolled they didn't they did put us under pressure many times but the usual trick of praying while franticly hitting keys paid off. Our man of the match award was given to [LT]Daffy-Duck for some fantastic defence work in the yard. A good fun game all in all, nice one MtS.
