Our Man of Match : [LT]?
Their Man of Match : [UWE]?
Match comments :
We played UWE today in a UKTFCL week 7 match, this last of LT's busy UKTFCL program for this week. The match started with both teams having 7 players.
The first map was CZ2, a map that LT had yet to be beaten on. Like greyhounds both offences came flying out of the traps searching for the nearest
command point. LT where the quickest out of the 2 clans with all 3 of their
flags capturing the command points before UWE had captured one. LT maintained
this speedy capping by capturing all command points inside the first minute of
the match. From this point on we never looked back and soon we broke the 200
barrier with UWE still in the 20's. LT power on this map was easy to see and
they ran out winners 242 - 36, without UWE being able to capture all command
points. A big RAH goes to Goss who again managed to blow UWE's CC, pity though
Goss they had no command points at the time :)
The second map was Rock2, this
map had caused LT a number of problems over the weekend. Due to connection
problems both teams started this level with 6 players. Again the pre-match hit
zero and like the thrust coming out of the space shuttle's engines both sets of
attackers went for the key. Both first waves of attack hit an active defence and
had to try again, however it didn't take long for LT to get their hands on UWE's
key and cap. Once the UWE defence had been broken the LT offence seemed to take
the key at will and soon we ran up a big lead. UWE where trying hard to get our
key and did so 3 times but it never made the yard. LT's offence was in good form
and ran up a big score on a map that most clans hate more then Man Utd.
Overall
an enjoyable match and without sounding to condescending an easy win for LT with
UWE never really getting started, they tried hard throughout both maps but didn't
cause us to many problems. Thanks for the game UWE.
