The mighty Toons took on clan [(}{)] in a week 10 ladder match, Both clans started with 8 players.
The first map was Well, Pre-match ended and both attacks set off like greyhounds after the hare in search of that first early cap. Our offence was met by a strong defnece whilst theres managed to touch the flag but died instanly. We where trying out some new tactics today on Well and they where working after this first early error. Our attack was constantly trying to get the flag and eventually did, they never let the opposing sides defence rest for long and soon had another cap. It stayed at 20-0 for a little while then [(}{)] got our flag and eventually capped, they capped again striaght after this one due to a breakdown in comms and no one knowing that they where standing waiting for the flag to be capped, a stupid error by us. We re-organised our defnece and they never touched the flag again. Meanwhile our offence capped twice more, the map ended with a win to us 40-20
Second map was 2Fort a map we hadnt played for a while and hadnt managed to practice it prior to this match. Again both attacks went in search of that early cap and we managed to get it. We managed to cap again before [(}{)] managed to cap, one of our defenders had left his PC and this is when they managed to cap for the first time. Both offences where trying hard to get past the others defence, with LT having more luck and managing to cap whilst [(}{)] where being hit hard by our defence. We managed 9 caps in total on this map to their 4.
A difficult match with both clans having connection problems throughout both levels, [(}{)] having the worste of it. We enjoyed this match though as it was played in a good spirit by both clans.
