ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Executive Director of E-AMARC is Osarumwense IGUISI. He holds a first degree in Construction Technology. An M.Sc degree in Industrial Location and Development and a second M.Sc degree in Management from the University of Brussels in Belgium. He obtained the Doctorate degree in Applied Science of Economics with special research focus on "Cultures and Appropriate Management" from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium.

His career has moved between industry and academia. He has worked for national and international organizations as engineer, economist and management scholar in Africa and Europe.

Since 1990, he has been involved in teaching and research in the fields of culture and appropriate management. He was a Research Fellow with the Institute for Research on Intercultural Cooperation (IRIC), University of Maastricht-Netherlands. Senior Lecturer Department of Computers and Management Sciences, University of Trento, Trento-Italy. Course Consultant, Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht-Netherlands and Associate Consultant, University Centre for Industrial and Management Economics (CUIEM), Verona-Italy. He also hold the position of Research and Training Consultant to the Lanarkshire Development Authority in Bellshire, Scotland., CESI Paris île de France in Paris, France, Consorzio Universitario per gli studi di Organizzazione Aziendale (CUOA), Altavilla Vicentina, Italy and National Research Centre (Consiglio Nazionale Delle Ricerche, Napoli-Italy.

Professor Augustine Ahiauzu

Professor A Ahiauzu holds a first degree in Sociology from the University of Nigeria. Nsukka, a Master degree in Organizational Sociology and Doctorate degree in Organizational Behaviour from Birmingham: University of Aston Management Centre.

His career has been fully devoted to academia. He has worked for national and international Universities as lecturer and researcher.

He was the Vice - Chancellor of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria between 1989-1996. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Centre for Management Research and Training based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is at the moment involved in teaching and research in the field of cultures and indigenous management thought, and serves as E-AMARC Research, Training and Consulting Advisor on Indigenous Management and Development.

Professor Italo Trevisan

Professor Trevisan holds a first degree in Political Science from the University of Padova and an MA degree in Political Studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Since 1986, he has been involved in teaching and research in the field of Culture and International Marketing, Cultures and Entrepreneurship Development and International Marketing Research Methodologies. He is a full-time Professor at the Department of Computers and Management Sciences, University of Trento, Italy. Part-time Lecturer and member of the Scientific Steering Committee of Consorzio Universitario per gli studi di Organizzazione Aziendale (CUOA), in Altavilla Vicentina-Italy., Member of the Editorial Board of the scientific Journal SINERGIE, and a Research Fellow with the University Centre for Industrial and Management Economics (CUIEM), Verona-Italy. He is currently E-AMARC Research and Training Advisor on Cultures and Entrepreneurship Development.

Dr. Nakabaale-Lule G

Dr. Nakabaale-Lule holds a first degree in Political Science from the Makerere University Kampala-Uganda, a Master of Science degree in Industrial Location and Development, and a Master of Science degree in Management from the University of Brussels. He obtained the Doctorate degree in International Relations from the Universite Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve in Belgium.

His career has moved between the public and private sector both in Africa and Europe.

He was a Senior Administrative Secretary at the Uganda Ministry of Local Government. He held the position of Head of Chancery and Acting Head of Mission at the Uganda Mission to Rwanda, Industrial Project Analyst at the Plant Location International Brussels-Belgium. He is at the moment involved in research and training in the field of cultures and Small Business Development and head the Project Evaluation Division of E-AMARC.

Anne N Munala

Anne Munala holds a first degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Industrial Sociology from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya. She also hold the Post-Graduate Diploma in Women Entrepreneurship from the Maastricht School of Management at Maastricht, Netherlands.

Her career has been fully devoted to the world of academics.

She was a Lecturer at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and the Membership and Administrative Services Manager at the Kenya Institute of Management. At the moment, she is E-AMARC Project Consultant and Training Advisor for Women Entrepreneurs and Managers.

Professor S Chumbow

Professor Chumbow holds a first degree in French language from the University of Yaunde, a Master and Doctorate degrees in Linguistics from the University of Paris in France.

His career has been fully devoted to academia. He has worked for national and international Universities as lecturer and researcher.

He is presently the Vice - Chancellor, University of Ngaoundere, Ngaoundere-Adamawa Province, Cameroon, Senior Lecturer, University of Ibadan Nigeria, Professor, University of Yaunde and Visiting Research Fellow, University of Cape Town, South Africa. Professor Chumbow is E-AMARC Research and Project Advisor on Foreign Aids and Indigenous Development in Africa.

Professor Francis N. Kibera

Professor Kibera holds a first degree in Commerce from the University of Nairobi, an MBA in Marketing from from the University of Alberta and a Doctorate degrees in Marketing Strategies from the University of Toronto in Canada

His career has been fully devoted to academia. He has worked for national and international Universities as lecturer and researcher.

He is the current Principal of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Nairobi in Kenya. He is a visiting Scholar and Reader to the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Makerere University Kampala in Uganda. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Research Fellow with E-AMARC and working on the implications of cultural values for Marketing Strategies for Small and Medium Businesses within the East African sub-regions.

He is at the moment involved in teaching and research in the field of cultures and public sector management, and E-AMARC Research and Training Advisor.

His publications include among others:

Our Resource Capacity

The E-AMARC and its Partner Centres staff members and associates have disciplinary background in management and behavioral sciences, and share interest in and concern for public and private sector business policy management. All members of staff and associates seek to combine closeness to the world of practical realities with critical insights from the world of scholarship theory. Apart from the members of the Centres, we can also draw upon the insights and services of colleagues in the Universities and upon partners with other public and private organizations locally and internationally.
